Fun and polished multiplayer game from Supercell

There is no denying that Clash of Clans has been one of the biggest phenomena in the gaming industry in recent years. Since then, Supercell, the developers of Clash of Clans have released several spin-off games such as Clash Royale and Boom BeachBrawl Stars is another new game from Supercell, and it features a wildly different gameplay from Clash of Clans. With its adorable aesthetics and fast-paced gameplay, does Supercell have another hit in their hands with this fun action game or will it be a dud that most people will just ignore?

Graphics and Interface

The first thing to note about Brawl Stars is its graphics. If there is one thing that all Supercell games knock right out of the park all the time, it’s the absolutely stunning art, and Brawl Stars is no exception. It features Supercell’s trademark cartoony style and vibrant color scheme. The character graphics of the brawlers are also wonderfully illustrated and rendered. They are all oozing with personality and charisma just from their looks.

The pre-game interface is pretty simple and easy to understand. There aren’t a lot of confusing information on the screen and the icons are very easy to comprehend.

Gameplay

The premise of Brawl Stars is simple. You must team up with other people in order to defeat another team. How you achieve victory depends on what game mode you choose. One of the best things about Brawl Stars is the fact that it has a lot of different game modes. First, there is the Gem Grab where two teams of three play against each other to collect 10 gems. Next, there is Showdown where players must be the last player standing in order to win. Bounty is another game mode and in this one, players must protect themselves in order to earn the most stars. The fourth game mode is Heist and in this game mode, players must crack their opponent’s safe in order to win. Finally, there is Brawl Ball where players must score two goals against their opponents.

Get New Brawl Characters

Getting new Brawlers is part of the fun of this game, but it’s also part of the frustration. Sure, there are free ways to get new Brawlers, but if you want the best ones, you’re gonna have to pay real money for it. This can make gameplay a bit unbalanced since players with more money can just get better brawlers and equipment.

Fun and Polished, But Greedy

Brawl Stars is extremely polished and nothing can take that away from it. It has nice graphics and fast-paced gameplay that a lot of people will no doubt enjoy. Its only flaw can be a dealbreaker for many, though, and that is its focus on in-app purchases. If you’re not willing to spend money on game purchases, Brawl Stars might get too tedious to play in the long run. If you’re just looking for a quick fun time with your friends, however, Brawl Stars is a good option.
